There was an error. General Comment Really nice song; shame not many people have commented on Deep Purple stuff!
wp.embedded-vision.com/2007-xl-1200c-manual.php The song is pretty straight-forward, about someone who falls in love with a hooker, then 'won' her shortly before she died. General Comment What a good song. Really worth listening again and again.

The lyrics are straight forward, but they are so great. General Comment Yep, I loved the song when I first heard it, its very catchy like most of their songs, Deep purple rock! General Comment Has anyone ever thought that this song could have a deeper meaning than just a track about a prostitute that someone fell in love with?
What if by saying 'I spent my money as I took my turn' the writer actually meant that he spent his money on buying things for the girl, while taking his turn to be with her in a relationship until she later on left him to start a new conquest with some other unfortunate soul. I think this song has a double meaning; the clearer meaning of a person talking about falling for a prostitute, and the deeper hidden meaning of a person falling for a girl who couldn't care less about him who just milks him for all he's worth.
